Privacy policy

This policy covers www.order-point.com: this website and its Book a demo form. It explains what we collect, why, where it goes and what you can ask us to do about it.
Who we are
Order-Point is a product of Conexio Software Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 08148785). Our registered office is 12 Hamilton Terrace, Leamington Spa, CV32 4LY.
We decide how the details described here are used, which makes us their controller. For any question about this policy or your details, email admin@conexiosoftware.com.
Ordering through a supplier? If you place orders on a supplier's own Order-Point app (an address like yoursupplier.order-point.com), that supplier decides how your details are used. We run the app for them. Ask your supplier for their privacy policy, because this page doesn't cover it.
When you book a demo
The form asks for:
- your name and your business name
- your email address
- your phone number, if you give it
- anything else you choose to tell us in the message box
We use these details to reply to you, arrange and run your demo, and follow up with you about Order-Point afterwards. We don't add you to a mailing list, and we never sell your details or share them for anyone else's marketing.
Our lawful basis is legitimate interests: you've asked us to get in touch, and we need your details to do that.
Where your details go
The form doesn't save your details in a database. It sends them to us as a single email:
- Our Order-Point service, hosted on Microsoft Azure in the UK, passes the request to Pillarbox, our own email service, also hosted on Azure in the UK.
- Pillarbox delivers the email using Amazon Web Services in Ireland. It keeps a copy for a limited time so we can check it arrived, then deletes it.
- The email arrives in our Google Workspace mailbox. We keep it while we're talking to you about Order-Point, and delete it within two years of our last contact.
- Our service log notes your business name against the request, so we can look into a request that didn't get through. The log is deleted after 30 days.
Google may store email outside the UK. Where it does, it protects it under its standard data protection terms.
When you visit the site
- No cookies, analytics or tracking. This site sets no cookies and doesn't record which pages you look at.
- Hosting. The site is hosted on Microsoft Azure. Like any web host, Azure handles your IP address and browser details to deliver pages and keep the site secure.
- Stopping misuse. When you send the form, our service holds your IP address in memory for up to an hour, so nobody can send the form hundreds of times. It isn't saved.
Your rights
You can ask us to:
- give you a copy of the details we hold about you
- correct anything that's wrong
- delete your details
- stop using your details, or limit how we use them
Email admin@conexiosoftware.com and we'll reply within one month.
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your details, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. We'd appreciate the chance to put things right first.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we use your details, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
